About Cast Iron Safety Relief Valve, Screwed, for Ammonia Vessels

SUPER 1968 CISRS safety relief valves protect refrigerant-containing pressure vessels in industrial ammonia (R717) and large commercial systems from excessive pressure, for example in a fire. Once installed the valve is ready to vent to atmosphere; after discharge it attempts to reseat to limit refrigerant loss, and it should then be cleaned and reset. Manufactured by the SUPER group; machined in-house at our Sonipat CNC plant.
