The SUPER 1968 AGVS angle gauge valve is installed on ammonia (R717) receivers and accumulators to hold the gauge glass tube that shows the liquid level in the pressure vessel. Two valves are used for each set of liquid level tube. If the glass breaks, balls inside the valve stop the refrigerant flow immediately. Manufactured by the SUPER group; machined in-house at our Sonipat CNC plant.
