SUPER 1968 check valves open wide for flow in the direction of the arrow on the body and close when flow reverses, protecting compressors, pumps and evaporators in ammonia (R717) plants. The range has three types: PCICVF piston-type cast-iron check valve (flanged), ILCVF in-line check valve (flanged) and SCCVW stop-cum-check valve (socket weldable). Manufactured by the SUPER group; machined in-house at our Sonipat CNC plant.

Key features

• PCICVF: heavy-duty piston type for compressor or pump discharge, hot gas and pulsating lines, including side ports of screw compressors; metal-to-metal seat; gravity closing; manual opening stem
• ILCVF: compact in-line design, mounts in any position; stainless-steel disc and springs; Teflon tightening ring on the cone
• SCCVW: stop valve and check valve in one body, welded directly to steel piping; angle-way and straight-way versions
• Suitable for R717 (Ammonia), R744 (CO2), HCFC and HFC
